Chinas central bank wants to launch its own digital currencies to cut the cosplayts of circulating traditional paper money and boost policymakers control of money supply, the Peoples Bank of China said on Wednesday.
中国人民银行20日表示，央行将发行数字货币以减少传统纸币的流通本钱，提高央行对货币供给的控制力。
数字货币（digital currency/money）是电子货币形式的替代货币。它不同于虚拟世界中的虚拟货币（virtual money），由于它能被用于真实的产品和服务买卖，而不局限在网游中。
