薄冰在《大学习英语语法》中的3.6节提到，the 与复数名词连用，表示整个群体，比如，
They are the teachers of this school. 指的是该校全体老师，而
They are teachers of this school. 指的是该校部分老师。
而徐广联在《大学习英语语法》的P4指出：
（the用在）复数名词前表示某类人的总称或集体中的任何一个或多于一个
once in a while they go to the shops.他们偶尔去商店。（指一个或多个商店）
基于此，我有两个问题请教老师们。
1.这两家之言似有矛盾，该怎么样理解呢？the 加复数名词该怎么样理解？
2.They are teachers of this school.肯定只不过一部分吗？
由于the teachers of this school中，the 修饰teachers of this school整体，由于这是一个前照应特指。the表示的是唯一的“全部”这是限定性的
teachers of this school中，零冠词修饰teachers of this school，这里没表示特定，而是表示大于1的复数。
两者的区别在于第一句是前照应特指，表示所有，第二句表示任意大于一的个数。
2.They are teachers of this school.肯定只不过一部分吗？
